Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [To be confirmed before launch]

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all orders placed with RS SUSHI LTD (Company No. 16222102, registered in England and Wales) trading as CLARKE FINE JEWELS. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

1. About us

RS SUSHI LTD, Company No. 16222102, registered in England and Wales on 31 January 2025. Registered office: OAKTREE HOUSE 408 OAKWOOD LANE, LEEDS, LS8 3LG, UNITED KINGDOM. Website: rssushi.com · Email: rssushi@rssushi.com · Phone: +44 7529 919093.

2. How an order is formed

All orders are subject to acceptance by us. When you place an order through the checkout you will receive an order acknowledgement by email; this does not constitute acceptance of your order. Your order is accepted and a contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of the goods by email. Where payment has been made by bank transfer before acceptance, funds are held and refunded in full if we are unable to accept the order.

3. Prices and taxes

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR). Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery zone and the size tier (S/M/L) of each item — there is no free-shipping threshold. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate; in the event of a pricing error we may contact you before accepting the order.

4. Payment

Payment is accepted by bank transfer only. Bank details (IBAN / beneficiary) will be confirmed at checkout and are currently [To be confirmed before launch]. Goods are dispatched only after cleared payment is received. Please use the order number as the payment reference. Do not send cash.

5. Delivery

We dispatch all orders from our EU warehouse (Germany). Every order of fine jewellery is shipped fully insured with signature on delivery. Delivery estimates: Zone A (UK) 2–4 working days, Zone B (EU Core) 2–5, Zone C (Rest of Europe) 3–7, Zone D (Rest of World) 7–14 working days, from the date of cleared payment. Risk in the goods passes to you when the carrier records delivery. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for full details.

6. Returns and cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason (EU Distance Selling Regulations / UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Goods must be returned unworn, undamaged and in their original packaging. See our Returns & Refund Policy for the full process. Custom-made pieces are exempt from the right to cancel unless otherwise agreed.

7. Warranty and faulty goods

You have statutory rights under EU Directive (EU) 2019/771 and, in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a 2-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity and, in the UK, a short-term right to reject within 30 days. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights. See our Warranty & Faulty Goods Policy.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or any order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.

Returns & Refund Policy

Last updated: [To be confirmed before launch]

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to cancel it without giving a reason — under the EU Distance Selling rules and, in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

1. The 14-day right to cancel

For all standard (non-custom-made) jewellery, you may cancel your order within 14 calendar days starting the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. No reason is required. This does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

2. Condition of returned items

Items must be returned unworn, undamaged and in their original packaging, with any certificates or documentation included. Fine jewellery is delicate — handle returns with care. Items showing signs of wear, resizing, engraving or alteration are not eligible for a no-reason return (custom work cannot be cancelled once production has begun).

3. How to start a return

Email us at rssushi@rssushi.com with your order number and the reason for return. We will reply within 2 working days with the return address and instructions. Return the goods in their original packaging with proof of postage.

4. Return shipping and refund timing

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a faulty item. We will refund the full purchase price (excluding any return-shipping cost you incur) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, by bank transfer to the account used for the original payment. Refunds are issued only after the goods have been received and inspected.

5. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of receipt with photographs. We will arrange collection or return instructions and a full refund or replacement, including any reasonable return costs. Your statutory rights (including the UK 30-day short-term right to reject and the EU 2-year guarantee) are unaffected.

6. Exceptions

Custom-made, engraved or resized pieces, and items personalised to your specification, are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Reg. 28, and the corresponding EU exemption for goods made to the consumer's specification).

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: [To be confirmed before launch]

We dispatch all orders from our EU warehouse (Germany). Every order of fine jewellery is shipped fully insured, with signature on delivery, via a tracked courier. There is no free-shipping threshold — every order carries a shipping charge calculated from the delivery zone and the size tier (S/M/L) of each item.

1. Delivery zones

Orders are priced according to four delivery zones selected at checkout:

  • Zone A — United Kingdom (GB)
  • Zone B — EU Core: Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Ireland
  • Zone C — Rest of Europe: all other EU/EEA countries plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein
  • Zone D — Rest of World: all other countries

2. Shipping rates (EUR, per item × quantity)

SizeZone A (UK)Zone B (EU Core)Zone C (Rest of Europe)Zone D (Rest of World)
S€9.90€7.90€12.90€19.90
M€14.90€12.90€19.90€29.90
L€24.90€19.90€29.90€44.90

At checkout, shipping is calculated per line item (zone rate × the item's size tier × quantity) and summed into a single shipping total.

3. Processing and delivery times

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of cleared payment. Estimated delivery from dispatch: Zone A 2–4 working days, Zone B 2–5, Zone C 3–7, Zone D 7–14. Delivery estimates are from our EU warehouse and may vary in remote areas. You will receive tracking details by email.

4. Insurance and signature

All fine-jewellery orders are fully insured during transit and require a signature on delivery. Please ensure someone is available to sign at the delivery address, and check the parcel for damage on receipt. If you cannot sign, the carrier will hold or return the parcel; additional redelivery fees may apply.

5. Customs, duties and taxes (Zone D)

For deliveries outside the UK and EU, local customs duties or other charges may be payable by the recipient. These are not included in our prices or shipping charges and are your responsibility. Please check local rules before ordering.

6. Loss, delay and non-delivery

If a parcel is lost in transit we will replace or refund the order in full once the carrier confirms the loss (typically within 15 working days of dispatch). If your parcel has not arrived within the expected window, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier. Unless otherwise agreed, goods must be delivered within 30 days of the contract (UK/EU default delivery rule); if we cannot deliver within that window we will contact you.

Payment Policy

Last updated: [To be confirmed before launch]

We accept payment by bank transfer only. We do not collect or store card numbers, and no payment card details are requested at any point.

1. How to pay

At checkout you will receive our bank transfer details: beneficiary and IBAN/BIC — currently [To be confirmed before launch]. Please transfer the exact total shown at checkout and use your order number as the payment reference. Payment is due within 5 working days of placing the order; orders not paid within that time may be cancelled.

2. When funds are collected

We do not debit your account — funds are transferred by you to our bank account. Your order is dispatched only after we confirm that cleared funds have been received. This typically takes 1–2 working days after your transfer.

3. Currency

All prices and totals are in Euros (EUR). Your bank may apply currency-conversion fees if you pay from a non-EUR account; these are your responsibility.

5. Confirmation

Clicking "Place Order" at checkout creates a binding obligation to pay the total shown, subject to our Terms. You will receive an order confirmation email with your order number and payment instructions.

Warranty & Faulty Goods Policy

Last updated: [To be confirmed before launch]

Under EU law (Directive (EU) 2019/771) goods are covered by a 2-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity. In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights including the short-term right to reject goods that are faulty within the first 30 days.

1. What the guarantee covers

Your jewellery must match its description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for purpose. If it does not — for example a loose stone, a faulty clasp, a casting flaw or incorrect metal — you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. This legal guarantee runs for 2 years from delivery in the EU and applies to consumers.

2. UK 30-day short-term right to reject

If an item is faulty at delivery (it does not conform to contract), you may reject it within 30 days of delivery (Consumer Rights Act 2015, s.22) and receive a full refund, including any delivery charges.

3. What is excluded

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, polishing wear, gradual chain stretching).
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, impact, chemicals, chlorine or salt water.
  • Loss of stones or damage resulting from not following care instructions.
  • Alterations, resizing or engraving carried out by anyone other than our workshop.
  • Items sold as custom-made to your specification where the defect reflects your specification.

4. How to claim

Email rssushi@rssushi.com with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs. We will reply within 2 working days with next steps — typically return or collection, inspection, and then repair, replacement or refund. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty goods.

5. Resolution and refunds

Repairs are completed in our workshop within 3–6 weeks depending on the work. If we cannot repair or replace the item, we will refund the purchase price in full by bank transfer to the original paying account.

6. Additional commercial care

As a courtesy, we inspect and polish your CLARKE FINE JEWELS pieces free of charge for the first 12 months after purchase (condition permitting). This service does not affect your statutory rights.
